Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 4, 2026

CoinCalc does not require a CoinCalc account and does not include advertising, analytics, cross-app tracking or user-profiling software.

Information processed on the device

Calculator inputs and results are processed locally and are not transmitted to CoinCalc or the market-data provider. Basic preferences are stored on the device and can be removed by deleting the app.

CoinCalc Pro can synchronize watchlists, saved conversion pairs, calculation scenarios and price-board settings through the private iCloud store associated with the user's Apple ID. CoinCalc's developer does not operate that iCloud account or receive this workspace data on the CoinCalc server. Users can reset the workspace from the app's sync screen.

Live market data

To provide cryptocurrency prices, CoinCalc sends requested public market symbols to Binance's market-data API. Requests do not contain calculator values, contacts, photos, precise location or an advertising identifier. Binance and the user's network provider may process connection metadata needed to deliver the request under their own terms.

Price notifications

When a user enables notifications, CoinCalc sends its server the APNs device token, notification authorization state, preferred language, locale, time zone, app version and user-created alert rules. This information is used only to monitor requested thresholds, localize and deliver notifications, protect the service and operate the feature.

Users can delete device registration and related alert records from the Price Alerts screen. This does not cancel a CoinCalc Pro subscription.

CoinCalc Pro subscriptions

Apple processes purchases through StoreKit. CoinCalc does not receive payment-card or bank-account information. To verify Pro access, the app sends a signed App Store transaction and random app-account token to the CoinCalc backend. The backend stores product and transaction identifiers, entitlement state and expiration, and a cryptographic digest of the signed transaction.

Users manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting alert data or the app does not cancel a subscription.

Sharing and tracking

CoinCalc does not sell personal information, share information for advertising or track people across apps and websites. Operational data is handled only by services needed for requested features: Apple for StoreKit, APNs and optional iCloud sync, and Binance for public market data.

Retention and security

The CoinCalc backend retains device-registration, subscription-entitlement and alert data while the corresponding feature is active or until the user deletes server data in the app. Server secrets and APNs tokens are protected in storage, and network requests use HTTPS.

Children

CoinCalc is an informational calculator and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If CoinCalc's data practices change, this policy and App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before the changed behavior is released.

Developer contact. A public support address will be added before the app is published. Until then, this page is a pre-release version of the policy.
